This Christmas, would you consider sending a shoebox gift online to reach children in need?

I was super blessed to meet Kanto at Ashburnham Place in 2020. Kanto had come to the UK to volunteer for a year.

On my last day at Ashburnham, I saw Kanto in the morning, said good-bye, and prayed for her. Later that day, I was rushing to catch my train. I was on the long path back to the main house when I saw Kanto and another volunteer come out of the woodlands, and they were now on the path in front of me. I thought I have already spoken to her and said good-bye. I am just going to rush by, say a quick good-bye, and explain that I am rushing to catch my train.

However, the Lord said, "No, speak to her!" That made no sense to me whatsoever; however, I was obedient and spoke to her again, and it was in that conversation that she asked what I did, and when I told her, she told me she received a shoebox as a child and the impact it had. I asked if I could take a video of her to encourage the team at work.

As a result of that the below video was made.

Afterwards, it made sense—the Lord knew we needed to have that conversation. I am so thankful I listened and did not rush by her, as the below video would never have been made.
